What have I read?

July 29, 2005

Inkheart by Cornelia Funke
Ok. Took a while to get into the story. Wonder what The Thief Lord is like. Hope to find out soon.

My Life on a Plate by India Knight
Didn't finish it. Boring, very annoying main character. Couldn't bring myself to read the entire book.

July 28, 2005

In the High Valley by Susan Coolidge
Not as good as the first four but still nice.

July 24, 2005

Memoir of Jane Austen by J.E. Austen-Leigh (her nephew)
Absolute must for Jane Austen fans!!!

July 24, 2005

De schippers van de Kameleon by H. de Roos (Dutch)
Love this series, hate the new modernised version, so if you read it get one with illustrations by Pol Dom, H Giezen or Gerard van Straaten

July 20, 2005

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling
Can't say too much because I don't want to spoil thing for those of you who haven't read it yet (and why is that!?) but it is absolutely fantastic (couldn't have been anything else but), so READ IT!

July 18, 2005

Charm School by Anne Fine
Nothing special

July 16, 2005

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl
Can't wait to see the film

July 7, 2005

The Amulet of Samarkand by Jonathan Stroud
Very nice, very nice indeed.
